Can anyone provide any information on Inland Mfg. M-1 Carbines? What are they possibly worth?

Thanks-45Guy

Inland Division of General Motors produced the most M1 and M2 Carbines.
They are generally noted as being the best made, simply because they had more experience than anyone else.

Prices depend on whether it's an re-import like the Korean bring-back "Blue Sky" guns, or a Carbine that was a US surplussed gun.
The second factor is condition.

As a rule of thumb, an "average" of about $600 and up for a good non-re-import Inland.

Well, if it's all numbers matching, and hasn't been re-imported, expect 900 or higher (cuz that's what one sold for here in VA after being on the racks for less than a day).

Inlands are also reputed to be the most accurate, and the only manufacturer to make the M1A1 (with the folding paratrooper stock) these are worth some serious cash.

Check out this site for a more complete breakdown. Inland was General Motors' steering division. They also made the single shot Liberator unless I am mistaken.

Well, if it's all numbers matching.....

And what numbers are you referring to? The only part serialized is the receiver. Other parts have manufactures initials (letters). A "correct" carbine will have all the right manufacturers parts.
