not veyr good with choking, so worried that i might damage gun by shooting 133 00 LE buck through an IC choke. also worried that I might damamge it by shooting it without a choke installed.

gun is benelli m1s90.

any ideas?

what is 133 00 buck? I've heard of 00 buck and 00 reduced recoil LE buck, but not 133 00 buckshot.

If you shotgun has interchangable choke tubes and you do not have a choke installed it will destroy the threads. If you can remove the choke from the barrel, always make sure you have one installed before you shoot ANYTHING through it.

Nothing wrong with shooting 00 buck through an IC choke, alot of things very wrong shooting without a choke on a barrel that has interchangable chokes.

133 is an 8 pellet 00 Buck load by Federal. Reduced Recoil I believe.

silverlance,

Federal 133 00-buck will be no problem for a IC choke.
Do, however, follow mattw's advise and NEVER shoot without a choke tube in a threaded barrel.

+1 on the "DO NOT SHOOT without a choke tube in place". I do not have a shotty with changeable chokes; however, a shooting budd of mine wrecked a Mossberg barrel that way. He had lost his IC choke, and thought that if he left the tube out . . .

Well, let's just say he is NOT the sharpest knife in the kitchen.
