MK9 elite model, excellent quality, hundreds of rounds of reloads and commercial no failures, accurate for a small compact.

I have a kahr cw9. Love the slimness, ergos, low recoil, accuracy, and under 400 price. Great gun. Only con--- no night sights.

I have had a P9 covert for about 2 years now. I love it - it's been utterly reliable so far. Wouldn't hesitate to trust it.

MK9 here and I think it is just about perfect. It is a triffle heavy for such a small gun so it isn't optimal for front pocket carry, but the gun produces so little felt recoil that it can be shot all afternoon without discomfort. And inside fifteen yards it shoots just a couple of inches high. Which is not a problem. I've never had a jam, even during break-in. I love this gun.

My PM-9, after a little work, is now completly reliable and my primary carry. My P-40 still has an issue loading the first round out of the magazine and is currently at Kahr for work.

Alot of people have the 9mm poly frame. I didnt see that many posts on how they are Not reliable, but alot voted such.

I bought my K-40 6 years ago I carry it nearly 24-7 and shoot it often. I could say 2000 rounds I may have had 2 failure to feed in all that time.
It seem to work for me.

I loved my pm40, and it is a REALLY accurate gun for a 3 inch barrel, and the trigger was REALLY nice for a DAO. But for my daily CCW that I am willing to bet my life on???????????? NO!!! I had the same crumbling followers as everyone else (that never seems to come up in pro kahr posts). And in about 2000 rounds i had only 2 problems with trigger reset. yet this was enough to remind me i never had ANY probs with any j-frames i have ever owned. hence I traded my pm40 towards a M&p 340ct. I miss the kahr trigger, and it was more FUN at the range but i am talking about WORST CASE SCENARIO moments here and I will count on my revolver first.

PM9

been flawless for over 9800 rounds since taking it out of the box. never shot a better handgun, goes bang every time, rides in my front pocket 24/7. Just got it back from cylinder and slide and their kahr custom work is totally awsome. not cheap work but what a job they did on my kahr PM9. Had the grips stippled 360 degress and it changed the entire feel and looks of the gun. Had a super trigger before I sent it in, now it is even much better, looks like every part was super polished. Had xs 24/7 tritium big dot sites installed on it and this is one heh of a defence gun IMO. With the big dot sites It is very fast to acquire the target at 15 yards and under.

Also have a k9 that has around 3000 perfect rounds through it also. I honestly cannot say one thing negative about the two that I own. They have NEVER malfunctioned one time. The k9 is just one totally awsome handgun, and what a range gun. I carried it in my 5.11 tactical pocket T-shirt while my PM9 was at cylinder and slide. And although heavier than my PM9 it was still very concealable carrying the way I did. Certainly not able to pocket carry though like the PM9. KAHRS ROCK

what kind of Kahr

KP4544N, it is my all the time carry gun and is ultra reliable, controllable and accurate

Atlasx

MK9

I shot 225 rounds on Sat for the first time break-in. Had one ftf but overall very pleased.

CW40 Hate it

I recently purchased a CW40. I really dont like anything about it other than the size and weight. I have put nearly 500 rounds through it. The last time I shot it, after I cleaned it, I put two mags through it and it started jamming on me, put another mag through it and it jammed again. Two jams within 18 rounds after a cleaning ***. :banghead:

Oh and my biggest gripe about it is that you cannot eject a live round after it has been chambered.

Have not felt comfortable enough to carry it for fear of it either jamming or not being able to clear a fouled round. Called Kahr about it they said give it another few hundred rounds and it should start to come around. I think i am going to just send it back to them and make them look it over.

I guess i will give it another try because there are a lot of people out there that like Kahr but right now i am a bit disgruntled.

brand new P9 first 300 rounds. 115gr ball, hydrashocks and silvertips

not a single bobble

Otis, my experience with the two Kahrs I own is, first they are the tightest pistols I have ever owned and that's why Kahr says you need to loosen them up by running 200 rounds through them.

I had no failures of any kind with either my K-9 or PM9, but they were really tight.

PM9

I have the PM9 and it has been rock solid reliable with 6 round mags, but fails to feed the 1st round out of the 7 round mags.
