Don't do stupid things - don't sell your GP 35 aka BHP! Judging from your words I believe you're quite satisfied with this pistol actually. It'll not be a great problem to get a nice 1911 you might like in the future after you've saved up. Finding a nice BHP later after you start missing your original one is a different matter entirely. Please don't do it. You'll probably regret it forever.

I personally wouldn't even consider it. If you want a 1911, I'd save a little longer and get a Colt 1991. Yeah, I know saving is tough... I saved for 2 years for my BHP -- but it was worth it. I wouldn't trade mine for Thor's hammer.
Don't get rid of a good thing... instead, wait until you can have 2 good things.
