LCP vs LC9

I have them both and I carry the LC9 more often. But I still find plenty of times when the LCP is a more comfortable option.
They are very similar, so having them both works for me (take-down and cleaning is equally easy...and I practice with both so I clean them often.)

II have both. I'm a smaller fellow, so the LC9 is too big to pocket carry like i do the LCP. I find both the grip and the trigger on the LC9 better than the LCP, even though the trigger pull on the 9 is still a long one. I could also do without the magazine safety on the LC9 ans it makes dry fire practice to inconvenient to bother with.

I don't own an LC9. But my concern is that the LC9 is equipped with a mag safety. Should i accidentally hit the mag release upon drawing the gun ( during a gun fight), I would not even get to fire one shot........ not a good thing.

The LCP has a unique niche: pocket carry. The only other gun I would consider for this role is a small j-frame.

The LC9 is too large for my pocket carry. If I were to carry it IWB, I might as well carry a G26. And if your cup of tea is for single stack 9mm belt carry, you may want to consider other models that can handle +P rounds.

To answer the OP's question: LCP gets my vote. LC9.... I'll pass.
Here's my suggestion: Pocket carry = j frame. IWB carry = G26/27.
