Lo-oo-ng AK mag!!

Looks more like it's intended for bragging rights rather than actual use. I'd much prefer a couple of 40-rd RPK mags, or even the standard-issue 30's. Changing that mag would definitely be a pain, and I'd be worried about stress on the mag catch and reliability issues, not to mention looking like a doofus. :D

There were 100 roung "box" mags made for the RPK by the communists. Got a couple AK reference books showing picks of them. The "bottom" end of the mag attached to the barrel near the muzzle.

National Mag, though, I'd pass on. The AR mags they make are similar to USA Mag quality from the samples I've examined. USA Mag also had a "lifetime guarantee", IIRC.

Probably sits in front of the barrel.

You would think so, wouldn't you? I've seen a picture of it attached to an AK before though. It doesn't come past the end of the barrel and there's room to put your hand in and hold the fore-grip.

I bought one of the 50s by the same company. They're definately NOT quality. Good for display, that's about it.

I think there were real ones made like the one shown. However, I wouldn't spend the money for this copy.

I would think Midway would know better than to sell such junk.

at least you could bench shoot it. mark it with degrees and you could calculate trajectory:neener:

If I get one of those to go with ten guns...would it california legal?

Gun shop guy told me today the Dems are planning to ban all but 6rd mags. Not to get off topic, but we might all want to stock up on hi-caps (for me 10 rd:mad: ) before January 1...Just not this one:D

kfranz, the shop owner is the only one there I actually trust with gun laws and politics. This one seamed far fetched, but with the clowns taking power soon, it could happen.

Is that for PRK, or in general?

And, it would make sense for them to do that....they want a return to the old west, with pistoleros everywhere, stagecoaches (what with emissions rules), and no modern factories. Nothing like 1885, eh?

everywhere since in the PRK (unlike the USA this time) we elected more republicans than last time. We are slowly changing as people starts to see berkley wierdos for what they are. If you want a laugh google "berkley parade" You'll laugh until you realize these people are serious...

Ah, my mistake, they were for AKs not RPKs as I look though my books.

No matter how ungainly or ugly they look, if I was in firefight in dire need of firepower and all I had was an AK or RPK, I'd take that factory 100 rounder.
