Hello all,
Just got a new Lee pacesetter dieset for 223 and have a resizing die, bullet seating die and crimp die.Was just wondering why there isn't a die for using my Lee pro auto disk powder measure with this set.I tried calling Lee and couldn't get through. If anyone is using this dieset, could you tell me how to use the pro auto disk with this,or do I need to order another die for the powder measure? I'm still fairly new to reloading and this is my first attempt with 223 .Thanks in advance.

"...just wondering why there isn't a die for using my Lee pro auto disk powder measure with this set."

That's a specialty die and few of us even want one.

I use one for my .223 but not for my .308, but I am shooting a lot of .223 and my rifle is not accurate enough to notice the .1 grain differences that my measure throws.

I use the AutoDisk Pro and their rifle charging die to load 223, and it works well for my non-critical uses (not shooting 1000yd matches with the ammo). On the Classic Cast Turret, I can actually get moving pretty well and crank out a bunch of ammo in a hurry. As with all powder drops, the biggest issue is making sure that you don't run dry and load up a bunch of squib rounds.

By the way - I highly recommend the Autodisk Pro over the Autodisk for those folk that haven't dropped the coin into an automated powder drop yet. It's much more robust and user-friendly.
