Hi folks,

What's going on with Lone Wolf, they seem to have a lot of items out of stock and they aren't making their longer (9") 10mm barrels anymore?

Scrummy

They pulled the plug on there barrel source and started ramping up the alpha wolf series with a new supplier. I got some cheaper barrel for all my glocks last fall when they put the lone wolf series barrels on clearance. Got 40-9 barrels for 50 and 357 barrels for 50. Had to retro fit 4 40 S&W glocks to 357 and 9.

Seems like the prices jumped also. Yikes. I have a Smith and Wesson Compact M&P in 40. I got the Factory 357 Sig barrel and 9mm barrel. They just drop right in. Too bad Glock didn't do the same with theirs

Yes this seems to be a little known fact. I've done the same, except I've no need for the 357 SIG barrel. I've also got Shields in .40 and 9mm, it appears that the 9mm barrel drops into the .40, although I've not actually fired it in this configuration since I have both pistols -- the .40 to carry, the 9mm for cheap practice, pays for itself in practice ammo savings in a couple of years (depending on how much you practice, for me took about 18 months).

I got one of the older Glock barrels from them for $99 this summer. That and a magazine turns my G22 into a G17 if I prefer to practice with 9mm. A board member was kind enough to point out that possibility to me. It works great.
