A local gun shop has a used CZ 75B dual tone in 40 S&W. It is in excellent condition. The guy that runs the shop sold it to the original owner and believes that it has never been shot. Looking at it I can't tell if it has either since the barrel is clean as a whistle. It has the case and two ten round mags.

Is $385 a good price? The only price I could find is on Gunbroker and new they are going for $480ish. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=90551912

$385.00 is a great price for this pistol if in the condition you've described. They are fantastic performer's and easily match the quality of many more expensive names. One caveat, pay close attention to the firing pin and the firing pin roll pin as on these models they can be damaged due to improper dry-fire. Just insert a pencil, eraser end first and ensure it fly's out after working the trigger, and then check the eraser tip for the firing pin indent. It should make a nice easily seen mark.

Is it nickel or silver polymer? If it's nickel and black poly I'd snap it up.

WARNING!!!
Buy that gun and you may become an addict!
I never owned a CZ that didn't make me want to get another one.
If I could only own one brand of self-stuffer it would be CZ.
OTOH, I like my Czech mausers too...

Yes, jump on it. I have the EXACT same gun, mine was $430 new at a going-out-of-business sale so I thought *I* got a deal. It runs like a top, everyone who's shot it really likes it.

How about two of them?

I bought one and the other one followed me home. :D

Whatcha think?

Range report!

Targets placed at 25 feet.

With the Dan Wesson/CZ:
My first string, it is definitely shooting to the left:

Aiming for the the 9 on the right hand side of the target:

With the 75B:
I ran out of time so I was only able to get a couple strings off. It is shooting a little low. My first string of five was aimed dead on the ten, the second string was aimed at the top of the orange bull:

The trigger on the 75B is not as nice as I would like. I'm spoiled by 1911's and a Sig P226 but it is just as accurate as those guns. The trigger is not terrible, especially for the money spent, and once you get used to it the groups are there. :)
