M2, 1100 Competition Master, or 11-87 Police for home defense?

I'm planning to add an auto-loading 12 ga. to join my 18.5" 500A Persuader 12 ga. (Great pump gun!)

I like the size of the 18.5" M2 and 11-87 Police. But from what I can find, the 1100 is not available with an 18.5" barrel, although the 1100 Competition Master (22" bbl) looks like a pretty great gun!

I like the shorter M2 and 11-87 due to their fairly compact size, but the 22" 1100 CM is very appealing as well. Can anyone educate me a bit more on the pros & cons or these guns for home defense?

Which would you choose for HD and why?

I wound up buying an 1100 Competition Master on GoingBroker. Still unfired NIB. Looks like an awesome gun for 3-gun competition. And with different barrels, good for other applications. CQB, clays, etc. I'm going to see if I can locate an 18" barrel for it to make a more compact home defense shotty. I feel a new addiction brewing... shotguns!
