Mag loader for Phoenix Arms HP22

Hey all,

I just picked up a Phoenix Arms HP22 yesterday to cut down on my costs at the range. I have to say I am very happy with the build quality of this gun and made a trip to the range today to put a few rounds through it.

I stopped but Walmart to pickup 550 Federal rounds for $12. That's awesome I must say as the budget WWB 40 cal's for my other pistol were killing my wallet.

I burned about 50 rounds. The gun shot flawlessly but loading the mag was a chore. That 10th round does not like to go in and I have a sore thumb as a result. Does anyone know of a mag loader that will work with the HP22 mags or at least give me a lead on something that might work?

I have nothing nice to say about them. To say the least the gun got thrown in a lake. My friend bought it because he had to have a gun and didn't want to wait another two weeks to be able to afford a better gun. He has a Sig Trailside now that I sold to him and he is much happier. I really hope you have better luck than he did. (the issues were jamming the firing pin coming out the back not cycling extractor not extracting among other little things)

They don't make mag loaders for 22s they usually have a tab on the side of the mag you pull down as you load.

I appreciate the feedback and expected trash talk based on my title but I really just wanted to know about the mag loader.

Thank you for your input about not making loaders. If anyone has any other suggestions I would appreciate it. That doesn't include "buy another gun"

Only load nine and smooth out those sharp feed lips with some 200 grit sandpaper.
