Magpul will not sell items to agencies or LEOs in banned states.

MachIV, the difference is that Armalite refuses to suspend sales to LEOs who serve oppressive state governments, whereas Magpul is UNHAPPY about suspending LEO sales, but has DONE SO until an Oathkeeper system can be put in place.

Armalite WON'T; Magpul regrets the necessity of doing so.

BIG difference.

BIG difference.

Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better. Remember that this is a NEW policy for Magpul, was not in place for the past 13 years while California, New York, Massachusetts, etc were able to buy their products.

Me? I'll continue to support both companies. I've spent about $1,300 on Magpul products and $5,700 with Armalite to date, with more purchases planned from both companies.

I drove all the way from my home to Magpul (12 miles) to see about getting my "Colorado Allotment", but alas, they aren't set up to sell retail. However, they've started a program where Colorado residents can order magazines before a ban (if it passes) starts. I registered, and urge all Colo residents to go to Magpuls web site and do the same. It looks like their actions, and the ripple effect is giving some politicians second thoughts about their support of the ban.

I see nothing positive in jumping on Magpul for not doing more and/or not doing it earlier. Right now they are making a major effort to support members of our tactical community in Colorado, where a leftist/progressive government is trying to destroy them. “Who,” I wonder, “is doing more?”

Pointing fingers and infighting among ourselves can only encourage those that support the most extreme kinds of gun control legislation.

If you're referring to me, please read my posts more carefully. I am not unhappy with Magpul at all; I am confounded by people who cheer Magpul and chastise Armalite, with their nearly identical sales policies. Very hypocritical.

Nope... Not just you. I was looking at a general overview of the whole thread. I too am not in favor of jumping on Armalite either. I am in favor of those companies who are going the extra mile to make a difference. They deserve our business.

We should stay focused on those legislators and public officials who are responsible for the legislation we are fighting. They are the real threat.
