I have a Marlin 1894C in .357, and would like to increase the length of pull. I thought I could add some length by getting a Pachmeyer or Limbsaver recoil pad that are 1"+ thick. As none of their web sites show a model specifically for the 1894, does anyone have experience with one of their pads for a 1895, 444, etc. and if they fit without grinding?
