Hello,
I handled a new 336 at a local shop today that seemed to have a shorter than normal LOP. Now I'm not sure what normal LOP is for a 336, but this gun was not the 336Y. When I look on Marlin's website they list the 336C as being 38.5 OAL, and the 336W as 38.25 OAL; both with a 20" barrel. Does the 336W have a slightly shorter stock, and thus also a slightly shorter LOP?
I'm one who appreciates a shorter LOP, so that's why I am asking.
Thanks!
