I have a chance to snag a Marlin Camp 9. Walnut stock, 1 mag, good to great condition, gunsmith checked and warrentied.

It's a good price I think, but what would you guys say the fair market is for one today?

Gunbroker was not much help as the ones listed have scopes or are in different conditions.

Depends...I've got one that I purchased for $275 last year from a private seller. Came with one mag, metal was excellent, plastic magwell has some scuffs, and stock has some white dots and flecks on the finish for some reason. But otherwise, was good. I've heard of paying around $400-$450 and up for around that bracket of quality (maybe a little less scuffs and marks), and up to $600+ for NIB. I'd pay about $450 or so...

Don't forget to immediately replace the buffer with a Blackjack and replace the springs with heavier Wolff springs (either the 16lb or 21 lb springs will work in the 9mm...). And don't bend the feed ramp putting it back together.

The Camp 45 is going to be different on pricing, those are a bit rarer.
