Mini 14 580 model rear sight

Hey guys.. so brownells got me a bit confused with the williams wgrs sight.. the big picture they display looks like the same exact setup mounting wise as the stock rear sight... however what i recieved after ordering was a dovetailed rear sight... anyone know of a adapter or anything to make a modell pre 2005 sight fit a ranch rifle 580?

It appears the stock photo sight is for a rem 870. I have no idea why they would dovetail a rear sight for the 580 which is screwed on. I'd suggest returning it and getting the Tech Sight instead.

You can cut out the middle man by going directly to William's. They only show one model WGRS that fits the Mini-14 or 30. However, their model FP-11/87(and 11/87-TK and FP-11/87 with Shotgun Aperture) also fit the Mini-14 Ranch.
