mossberg 500 peep sight

I have a mossberg 500 -24" rifle bbl. Does anyone make a rear peep sight that will fit into the dovetail mount on the barrel? The gun has an aluminum receiver, and is not drilled or tapped for mounts, so I would like to replace the crappy rear fold-up sight with a peep or ghost-ring.It appears to be a standard 3/8 dovetail slot.

Pictures of your current rear sight would help. Is it marked by maker (Williams?)?

Current rear sight is standard factory flip-up on Mossberg 24" rifled 12 guage 500 barrel.

I'm not aware of anyone who makes such a sight. A peep sight needs to be closer to your eye than the rear of the barrel allows. Drilling and tapping the receiver shouldn't be expensive or difficult for any gunsmith.
