Just a pic of my plastical fantastical pistolas :D
HK USP 45 and GLOCK 22. They have never let me down, not even once. ;)

For those who are wondering whether you should get the G machine or the HK, my advise to you is to get both, they're totally absolutely positively reliable guns out of the box, worth every penny.

Just from the informal "torture tests" I've seen, it seems like Glocks and H&Ks are reliable in different circumstances. Both will handle lack of lube. Both will tolerate carbon fouling buildup from being shot a lot.

But dry, gritty debris, like desert sand, will make a Glock's internals completely seize up, while an H&K will keep going.

But then slightly damp coarse sand, more like what you'd find on the beach, won't faze a Glock at all, while an H&K will absolutely refuse to fire the round in the chamber, and will then never return to battery until it's thoroughly cleaned.

Which is why I have both, just in case I get stuck in dry sand area, or just playing on the beach :D

I just rekindled an old flame with my 1st handgun, a Glock 24P. It eats up cheap, dirty reloads I made without complaining, is easy to shoot, and accurate to boot. I hardly ever shot it anymore and almost considered selling her but after putting 60 more rounds through her yesterday I think she's going to see a lot more range time again.
