they grow up so fast. I remember the first time my little girl cycled the bolt all by herself for the first time. I know that's kind of an odd memory to most but for me it really was one of those moments when you realize they are growing up.
Good choice on the target. Shooting paper gets boring fast. The feedback from hitting metal and movement make dueling trees great. Have you tried the jumping .22 targets? They move randomly and give the same audible feedback.
Agreed. I've been teaching my nephew's son about shooting this year. On his first trip to the outdoor range, his face lit up when he was busting clay pigeons that we picked up from the T&S field.

We went out shooting again today, She was shooting 100 yards on a 8x8 steel target, it was so dang cool, My phone was dead so no video of that. I have a .22lr comp tomorrow and will be taking her along with me. Shes been begging to go with me to one of those for months.
