Or at least i hope it is considering i havent shot it yet!
Its my new 20 ounce, Cobra Patriot .45acp with a 3.3" barrel. It holds 6 rounds in the one factory supplied mag.I own few handguns that feel as good in my hand as this one.Im not thrilled that the slide wont lock back on an empty mag,but the tech at Cobra said its not supposed to.Right now,the mag release is very stiff and being right handed i find it easiest to release the mag with my left thumb. Its metal by the way, which seems rarer all the time on todays polymer handguns.I prefer it.The trigger is very light for about 80% of its travel and then the true DAO action swings in and you feel the 10lbs fully! Feels good though and its got two strike capability without having to rack the slide to recock.Ive never tried to post a pic so it opens automatically -maybe someday. Here is the Patriot next to my 5" 1911 and Kel-Tec P32.By the way,the Patriots stainless slide is milled from a casting and to me looks just like a Ruger P series stainless slide. They must use the same process. Now to break it in and see if its worth a dang! Even though the pic looks different, all muzzles were flush with each other.
