I have a 1940s era commercial PPK that was refinished. Read: no collector value. It does have, however, original brown swirly plastic grips in excellent condition. Internet research indicates that the grips alone may be worth a few bucks. Point being, I don't want to damage them accidentally.

Does anyone know where I can get a decent set of PPK grips, preferably wood?

thanks in advance

When ordering the grips, make sure you specify the year of your PPK, modern grips [ current S&W grips ]will not fit. For ease of manufacturing S&W made some, not visible changes to the grip frame.
