Need Quickload help

I'm trying to load for my .22 Hornet rifle. I've got 8# of Blue Dot, which should be perfect for 35 & 40 grain bullets. I e-mailed Alliant. They were way less than helpful.

Anyway, wondering if someone would run it for me. I suspect somewhere around 11 grains, but need to know for sure. Not gonna guess.

In the meantime I'll try some of the listed loads for H-110 & 4198.

I gotta get my own Quickload. Too good not to from what I've seen.

I just ran it, and got 8.5 grains max (40,000 PSI) with a 40 grain bullet.

excellent. after I typed that, I got to thinking that 11 grains would be awfully stiff. Load with H-110 is 11.5, so it should be less by maybe 20%

I've used something similar to BD & 11gr was about max.
