Just arrived today! Love it! This is a version of their LTC Kukri. The LTC has a 12" blade and is 17" overall. The HTC has a 15" blade and is 20" overall. They also gave it a slimmer curve and it actually looks more falcata or kopis than kukri (and that's what attracted me to it.) I onlysee this HTCin the "4th of July Sale" flyer" I got from them. Haven't seen it on their web site. But check this out---it was only $60!! The LTC is $118 from the Special Projects catalog. No, I couldn't pass that up. And, the blade is shaving sharp the entire length. The blade is 1/8" thick, so it's fast and it's light to carry. But it's not a blade for too rugged a chore, I'd guess. But, then, that's not why I bought it. Like my Trailmaster, it's not for chopping and crap like that. It's for carry in the woods. I'm real pleased with it. Fits great in the hand.

Now, the REAL kukri I'm going to get is going to be a Himalayan Imports Ang Khola and that's next on the blades "short list".

I've had a kuhkri for years and it's not for show. I've cut a huge amount of brush with it and it really works great. At 24 ozs it cuts some thick stuff. The handle was a problem , I altered that but the thin in the middle fat on the ends handle is not my preference. I recently got a agrussell kuhki which has a much better handle for me but at 18 ozs it won't cut heavy stuff. For those considering buying a kuhkri remember the heavier the knife the thicker stuff it will cut.
