New Range Buddy

Took the wife shooting tonight with her new walther p22, and she LOVED it.

I now have a new range buddy. She has gone with me before, but didnt like the Ruger MK II that the range has. We went shopping for a pistol for her and she picked a p22. We picked it up last Saturday and took it out today. She ran about 150 rounds through it. She knows the 4 rules and was very safe, even when hot brass hit her she never even attempted to do something unsafe.

You will never know how happy I am right now.

Very cool. She looks happy as can be, and that's always a good thing! Just watch your bank account, you might have to start doing the thing where in order to buy a new gun, SHE'S gotta get one too, heh.

she is already talking about it. When we were at the range I rented a Sig P226 9mm because I have always wanted to shoot one, and if i liked it I was going to start saving for it. She said "why would you want more than one gun in the same caliber, you should get something in a different caliber. you already have a 9mm, so I need a .32 and you need a .40 or .45 or something."

haha, I knew there were more than a few reasons that i love her.

Congrats! Took mine to the range before we were even officially "dating" to be sure she would qualify as a potential girlfriend. Aw, who am I kidding, I would've kept seeing her anyway, she's HOT! Just would've had to invest more time in converting her, time I was fortunately able to spend on other activities!

yeah. thanks for the comments guys. we are hoping to get back out there next week sometime, child care permitting. I will get a better pic than that one i took with my phone.
