Has anyone seen prices or models of the new Savage rifles with the new adjustable triggers. Been waiting to get a new long gun and one of these in stainless .308 would fit the bill nicely.

I'm hoping they put that trigger into the Savage Scout. I've got one of the earlier ones, but just couldn't get the trigger right, and eventually had to drop in a Sharp Shooter trigger to fix things up. If they improve the Scout trigger, that'll be first-class!

I was interested when I first heard about this gadget, because I'm wanting a Savage as my first bolt gun.

I've been thinking about how the shooting public in general will receive this mechanism. It may work great, and if it does I'll be fine with it, but I have to wonder how many people will be turned off by a bolt gun with a Glock trigger in it.

Are there any other rifles of respectable lineage that use a similar device, that might make the design seem less...funky?

I think if enough of us like it, this trigger may revolutionalize the rifle world as we know it.

Now, I own glocks, and have switched from Glocks to 1911's, I doubt I ever buy another Glock. I just prefer the 1911 style, and heritage (trigger especially).

I doubt I would sell my 10 FP to get the new trigger. But if they are deemed good by other users, I may ask Savage to sell me a trigger outright, as long as I can install it myself.
