New to me 870 Police Magnum

I have been looking off and on for a police magnum 870 for a while. Today I was in my LGS and stumbled across a 2008 870 Police Magnum from a police department in northern KY just south of Cincinnati. The gun looked in decent condition and has since cleaned up nicely. The LGS was asking 399 but I was able to talk them down to $300+tax. I’m a happy camper!

The magazine extension going beyond the muzzle of the barrel would bother me. It won't be difficult to find a more suitable length magazine extension.

I have an 870 Police Magnum...like it. Mine is gloss blue with a 20 Imp Cyl barrel. Wilson Combat magazine extension in the picture. I like it much better (balance) without the extension.

I keep my recent production 870 Police with no extension.

And before anyone claims otherwise, there is nothing wrong with new police guns. Mine runs like a house on fire and is slick as can be. Have shot hundreds of rounds, many high brass, with 0 issues to be had.
