I might actually be able to shoot that. If I were getting something to just throw in the closet for "just in case," I'd like an M2.

I also like Bowman's thinking on the 20mm sniper rifle.

Actually, as far as I know they're legal--classified as DD's if I'm not mistaken. Good luck finding someone to sell one to you though. I've never heard of anyone getting a frag. from a class 3 dealer.

Thats my want list. I'm sure I would want one of everything when its all said and done but these here are the ones I want above all others.

.......ahh I'm going crazy just thinking about it. Likely I'll spend a bunch of money on FA guns and then start to wonder what all the fuss was about when one day at the range I realize I haven't shot any of my guns FA in over a year.

the tax has been 200 since 34 when it was enacted. with the rate of inflation it has gotten to the point where it is actually affordable for almost anyone. would you be ok if the tax went to 500 for machine guns if it opened up the registry, aka 86 bill goes bye, bye.

this would mean a higher transfer tax but the cost of a ar-15 select fire for example goes from 10k to probably 1.5-2k. m-60 full auto from 30-40k down to 10-15k.

Light Machinegun- RPD
Assault Rifle- M-16 lower with safe, single, burst, and auto trigger group. 22LR upper, 7.62X39 upper, 20" upper, M4 upper( you get the idea ).
Sub-Machinegun- 9mm, .40, and.45 uppers for M-16 lower .

I would be happy with the versatility of one or two M-16 lowers, and an AK.
