I bought a Tanfoglio Witness 10mm about a year ago primarily for backpacking. about 300 rounds in, the slide cracked. i sent it in the EAA (the importer) the fix, and they replaced the slide with an older design, more square slide (which was expected). they were out of the "Wonder" finished slides, so they had to put on a blued slide, giving me a two tone (which I kind of like). because they had to substitute, they threw in an ambidextrous safety, and their "supersights" (just basic adjustable sights). the original sights were a 3 dot system, which were at least some use in low light. the new sights are flat black, with no highlighting or dots to aid in lower light situations... Does anyone know of a way to put night sights on a Witness? the front sight looks like it's milled right out with the slide and would have to be ground off, then drilled and tapped for new sights, which obviously would void the warranty i just had to take advantage of... any help would be greatly appreciated.

what about just putting some bright colored model paint (they sell it at my gunshop) and put some color on the sights?

I have a Witness Match and it's got dots on the rear but the front is flat black and I really dislike not having any color on the front. I'm going to just put a dot of paint on the front as a remedy and am thinking about the fiber optic front sight that EAA sells on their website

yeah, i've got some yellow "Bright Sights" sight pain, but no matter how many coats i put on, it turns out a dull green... are there better brands of paint that retain their fluorescence better?
