Happy New Year, All! I sure hope this year is good to you!

I have decided that a set of night sights would be a good idea for my most recent CCW peice.

Right now it has that "I-Dot" style where the front sight is a dot and the rear is this little white vertical line (no glowy for the dark places).
My 226 has factory night sights from Sig and I was thinking on making them the same. The 226 has a #6 front and #8 rear setup and I find it very accurate.

I was hoping that someone has had this problem before and could point me in the direction of a good set of night sights for my little 239.

has anyone had any experience with these TRUGLO's before: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/49...-sig-sauer-6-front-8-rear-steel-tritium-green

I was eyeing these Trijicon's pretty close but they don't have the numbers on them that I can tell so I don't know if they would line up the same:

It looks like my 226 has these but I can't seem to find them with #6 fronts:

Anyway thanks a bunch for reading and helping if you can.

First off, congrats on the new Sig. It always tugs at my heart strings to hear someone say something along the lines of "my new carry gun, a 239". With all the tiny pistols out there, the merits of Sigs "Personal" size guns is often over looked. They are not as small and light as what's out there but the size and weight make it a very shootable gun. To top everything off, it's just a really classy looking gun... Sorry, I've started carrying mine again recently and have rekindled a once wild love affair, about your original question...

My stock gun came with standard sights, which I didn't mind but didn't love. I had the Sig factory night sites installed (I bought a set online) and liked them but not as much as the Trijicons I had on other guns. I eventually just bought a set of what I always wanted; the green, three dot combat sights from Trijicon. I have had them now for around 8 years and they are still very bright. I don't know about the different numbers you were looking at but IMO, for night sights, Trijicon is the way to go.

Hey Thanks skt239!
I think I will be ordering the Trijicon's tonight. The only one they have, though, is the orange front site and green rear. I think it will work out okay, though.
Thanks again for the warm reply and assistance!

I have Heinie Straight Eight night sights on my P239. I moved the factory Meprolight sights to one of my P225s. My other P225 has Trijicon night sights. The Straight Eight sights are supposed to be faster and they are closer to the original SIG sights prior to SIG offering night sights. You'll need a sight removal/installation tool if you plan on doing the sights yourself. I have quite a few SIGs so it was worth the investment for me.
