What you need to do is find out what the rate of twist of your rifle is and use 140,000rpm's as the max velocity when looking for starting loads.

1 in 10 twist ='s 1950fps
1 in 12 twist ='s 2325fps
1 in 14 twist ='s 2725fps

Where did you come by, or how did you derive those numbers? I'd like to apply that to my 44 mag for minimum velocities. (I've got another thread o that project lol.)

RPM = (V x 720) / the rate of twist

1950fps x 720 ='s 1,404,000
1,404,000 / 10 (1 in 10 twist) ='s 140,400rpm
