I was looking for a cheaper alternative to shooting my Lee-Enfield, and lo and behold ... I got my grubby paws on a Norinco JW-15.

To be honest I don't know what the draw of Norincos is for me, wait ... I do. they are amazing knock-offs of great designs!

In any case, I had some observations and some questions. I noticed that on slow fire the bolt locked up nicely and it shot exceedingly well. During rapid fire however I noticed that sometimes it doesn't recock and the trigger remains "limp" if you will. This is really probably an issue on my end in working the bolt, and I am more used to my beloved Lee-Enfield, so to compare the two bolts is a bit ridiculous. Mechanical accuray was amazing though, no matter which speed it was shot at.
Now, my question: Seeing as this is a knockoff of a CZ 452 and does take the magazines for it .... Does it take the stocks, too? Reason being here is that I love Mannlicher style stocks and I know they are available for the CZ, but will they work with the Norinco knock-off?

Thanks already for the replies!

I have one of these and love it. To me sounds like someone tried to lighten the trigger pull and went overboard. Take the action out of the stock and there is a adjustment screw by the trigger. I would try this before playing with the bolt. For magazines you can contact j&g sales and they have some on hand. Don't know about the stocks but go to www.rimfirecentral.com, scroll down to other/misc. firearms and you can find a lot of information there.
