I got a call last night from a marketing group working for the NRA. They were offering to donate copies of Wayne LaPierre's book "Guns, Crime, and Terrorism" to the local library in my area and send me an autographed copy also. They said they were doing this because the NRA could not get their message out as much as they wanted too beacuse of "finance reform" laws and leftist media bias.

They were offering 7 copies + autographed for me - $90.00 or
3 copies + autographed for me - $60.00 or
1 copy + autographed for me - $45.00.

I ended up giving them $45 for the one copy and autographed for me.

I called the NRA today just to make sure this was on the level (can't be too sure these days) and the rep said that they are making these phone calls.

All in all, I did not mind sending them money for this kind of stuff (as long as the book gets to the local library).

Just an FYI....
