Oh NO...I shoot my XD-45 better than my G17!

Well, I was out at the range today, and I shot all of my guns. Here's what I did with my Glock.

Glock 17 @ 10 Yards, 50 rounds



Keep in mind, I have 2200 rounds through this pistol and would NEVER sell it. It has not malfunctioned, not once, ever.

But, here's what I did with my XD-45...

Springfield XD-45 @ 10 Yards, 50 rounds



Now, keep in mind, I've only had this pistol for a MONTH and only just now put my 350th round through it.

I guess it's just a better natural shooter for me. Any suggestions?

Love My XD

I love my XD 45. Actually, I own two. One for me and the wife carries one as well.

It shoots every bit as good as my HK USP without the bulk.

Look at the pics. I might not be a superstar with my Glock, but he's still dead.

I go by my dad's rules mantra when it comes to weapons.

1) Never part with a reliable gun if you can avoid it.

2) Never sell your last gun.

Youve got taste like mine. I own a XD45 and a GP100 and am after a Glock 17 now. The XD45 is one nice gun and when I added a streamlight tlr-1 I shot it with much better accuracy.

Its the light and may I say that its one bright light. With the extra weight in the front my groupings improved 100%

Good. Nothing against guys who use them, but I'm not really into lasers...wouldn't want to become dependent on something like that.

I love my XD .45 too, that is some great grouping along with the "just for the hell of it" head shot

I just added a TLR-2 (flamet thrower white light plus laser, selectable) to my XD 45 and it does wonders for making the sight 'settle' faster and easier.

That is some lousy shooting. Look at those five or six shots that weren't even on the black. You really shouldn't have to endure a gun that shoots like that. So out of the goodness of my heart, I will offer to let you send me the XD45. I am willing to suffer through it so you do not have too.

Nice shooting. I love my XD9, but I am saving for that XD45 (I know it is not a lot of money, but $500 is $500.)

I just noticed that in the second target there is a single rd in the head of the target, was that the last resort faliure to stop drill. After 49rds he kept comming, did that 50th single rd succed in "stopping" him? i sure hope so!

My XD45 Tactical is my favorite sidearm. I don't own any Glock's but I might someday. Not in any hurry to get one. I did buy a TAURUS PT1911 a while back & it is begining to run a close 2nd to the XD. That's some good shootin' with both of your gun's. I'm pretty sure that the mor you shoot the XD, the more you will like it!
