So, with wait times for a VM II approaching the time it takes to conceive and birth your very own child, I need a holster now to tide me over. I've been looking, reading, searching, all that fun stuff and I've narrowed it down to 2 choices. If anyone has another suggestion please speak up, my only requirements are that the holsters are leather, IWB, and available with little or no wait.

Option one:

Fist #20

Pros:
Offset belt loops
Adjustable
Available in Black

Cons:
Wait is about 6 weeks.

OR

MS Summer Special II

Pros:
Its available now
reinforced mouth
Belt loops 1 1/5 inch (matches my belt width)
Its a Milt Sparks

Cons:
NOT available in black (but I can get black belt loops)
Location of belt looks may well make the holster less stable than the offset belt loop design.

Holster added:

TT GunLeather IWB

Pros:
Offset belt loops
Available in Black
Reinforced opening

Cons:
4-6 week wait

The wait on these holsters isn't bad enough to really be considered a "con", except when compared to the fact that the SSII is available right now.

Your opinions and insight is much appreciated.

Wilson Combat (www.wilsoncombat.com) has some styles that will suit you for a 1911. I have gotten leather from them in the past (mag holders and holsters) and they have always had the item in stock:).

I have found that the TT Gunleather is as comfortable and as good as the Milt Sparks VMII. Yes the wait is now longer due to the fact that the word is getting around. I ordered my first holster for the Kimber Ultra Carry last year. Friends are asking to borrow my holsters so they can experience for themselves what it feels like and compare them to the MS holsters. My favorite IWB holsters are my Milt Sparks (VMII and Watch 6), my Alessi's and my TT Gunleathers. :D
