Greetings people.
As of today I'm a new member 'cause I need help obtaining a tool and accessories for my reloading.
In browsing your msgs, came across a thread of discussion involving Lee and RCBS tools so what the hey...just maybe I can get some help in my quest for a tool.
I presently have 2 Lee tools. The newest one is the "AUTO-PRIME" with assorted shellholder inserts and the attached primer tray. It does work but I have a strong attachment for the previous tool sold by the same outfit but discontinued for some years now.
This was similar in appearance to the hand tool sold thru SINCLAIR but made of white metal in dull finish!!!
Uses thread-in shellholders that were letter stamped and you feed the primers manually one-at-a-time that may make the priming process slower but you can't beat the positive feel of seating or the ability to control seating depth.
I use the older one whenever possible but I don't have shellholders for all the calibers I load.
Looking for a source to shop in used/discontinued for spare hand tool and at least 3 of the inserts (B, M, and N). Want backup tool for what I hear is once in a while breakage of tool in female threaded area.
Help...help...help!
By the way, Lee tool is my favorite hands down; if money were no object, I'd purhase the much more expensive SINCLAIR tool and get all the shell holders they offer!!!!; then no more worries.
