Old Winchester semi-auto .22 rimfire rifle?

My grandfather used to have a Winchester semi-auto .22 rimfire with a cylindrical receiver and a tubular magazine in the stock loaded through a little chute on the side. He used to use it to pick off hand-thrown clay pigeons and make the youngters look bad. ;-) I haven't seen it in years and I am not sure which of my uncles has it now, but I'd like to keep my eye out for one like Gramps had. Can anyone help me identify the model? Thanks!

Winchester Model 74

Sounds like the model 74. It had a cylindrical receiver and loaded thru the side of the butt stock.
