In the interest of starting a controversy, I have a Rock River Entry Tactical, and have had and sold a Bushmaster Post Ban (reason for sale in 9/04) M4A3.
I'm thinking of purchasing another AR, for general use and abuse. In this I mean truck rifle, occasional hunter, heavy plinking, spare oar, etc.
I'm thinking of an Olympic Arms Plinker carbine or Plinker plus rifle.

Any positive feedback on these rifles? No interest in customizing or upgrading this one, as my RRA fits this bill. (anyone need a new 16" R-4 wilson bbl?)
Any comments or opinions on Olympic would be greatly appreciated.

I have one of the original Plinker carbines, dating to the middle of the ban period (no flash hider or bayonet lug). Back then they were using cast lowers, the new Plinkers use the same forged lowers as the rest of the Olympic line.

Mine has been fine. I don't shoot hundreds of thousands of rounds through it, but I haven't experienced any problems or hiccups. For the $500 it cost back then, I consider it a bargain.

Truck gun? Good choice.
