Hello all.

Bass Pro has apparently teamed up with Winchester to exclusively sell this SZX ammunition.

Their training ammo is $12.99 and another brand called personal defense for $16.99.

Does anyone have any experience with this brand?

Thanks.

Yeah I've used it before and liked it. I emailed Winchester about the hollow points as I'd read they were like Black Talons then also read they were just like the WWB stuff. The email I got back from Winchester was that they hollow point ones were the same as the WWB stuff only with a black coating. Still good ammo that shoots good. I can't complain about it.

Me and the G30 (45acp) just shot a gallon milk jug filled with water yesterday with that ammo from about twenty yards. Went off like a stick of dynamite, very nice, NO WAY a BG woulda kept coming. (seems like anyway).

I heard it gets your hands (fingers) pretty dirty when you are loading up mags because of the moly coating on the bullets.
i have had no issues with that or that i can remember anyway.

i have used the .40 fmj and jhp in both my glock 23, and sa xd service model, they are reliable, and shootable enough and as far as i can tell accurate enough for defensive use. really they seem to be wwb relabeled with a coating on the bullet itself that is supposed to aid in feeding, however i have never had an issue with regular wwb of any kind in any of my handguns. for that matter no ammo of any type has given me trouble in the xd or glock.

Yes it's 50 round boxes. Not sure what caliber he is talking about though. The price seems similar to what I remember 9mm being. I think the .45 was more and I'm not sure I've seen the price of .40.

I don't see it online, and they didn't have ANY brand of 9mm or 38spl at the BP in Orlando last week. Lucky my local gun shop seems to always have a decent selection in stock, and doesn't price gouge. The range, on the other hand...

EDIT: I should have said I only see .45ACP online. No other calibers.
