out of control!

I know they are low end because I couldn't afford a 600$ lever gun at the time and have a hard time justifying it for a week a year use as well as a few others.

Add up the money you spent on your affordable stuff you don't use and it probably adds up to more than that "expensive" Marlin. Now try to recover that money by selling those guns, you'll probably see a decent loss. The cold hard facts of the matter are the low end stuff almost never holds or gains in value. Upgrading to a little higher end guns generally gives you something that at least maintains if not grows in value. Maybe not immediately, but over time. You look at it as a cost, try thinking of it as an investment. Marlin lever actions for example are very popular and there is always a market for them and over time they not only maintain value but often increase, sometimes substantially. Plus get the pride of ownership and the use of that nicer gun in the meantime. Your money, your choice. Myself, I like the nicer stuff even if I have less of it.
