It is now my understanding that Pennsylvania is no longer honoring Florida concealed carry permits issued to non-Florida residents, or will soon stop honoring.
Also, Pennsylvania will not issue a non-resident permit to a non-PA resident who does not have a permit from his state of residence.
This is heap big trouble for NJ resident with FL permit who wants to carry, or even target shoot handguns in Pennsylvania.
I am hoping that a NJ resident with no carry permit can go to a range in PA with an unloaded handgun in a locked car trunk separate from the ammo.
I hope that FOPA will allow locked unloaded carry from a NJ home to a PA range, but I am not sure about this and do not want to get whacked.
I hope that a non-resident Virginia permit might still be okay in PA.
Anyone know the score?
In any event, I need to contact the PA Attorney General.
