I was digging through my dad's footlocker and decided to put some of the stuff together and take some pictures. Since it is Veteran's Day, I thought it might be appropriate to share one.
BTW, my father (who passed away many years ago) was an infantryman with C Company, 62nd Armored Infantry Battalion, 14th Armored Division and fought through France and Germany from September 1944 through the end of the war. He shipped out as a PFC, was later given a battlefield commission, and received two bronze stars and a purple heart along the way.
That's him in the upper left corner. Everything else in the picture, aside from the firearms, were his.
