Please advise, places to shoot in Scottsdale, Arizona?

My mom is taking me and my little sister to Scottsdale the week before Christmas. I'd like to do some shooting and let my mom try out her new gun. Where are some of the places to shoot?

Are you talking about actual ranges or can we pretty much go anywhere "out of the way" and set up and shoot?

If you are out to visit, I would go to http://scottsdalegunclub.com/

Beautiful interior, reasonably priced ammo (for a range) and good folks.

It may be also cool enough to go shoot at http://www.basfaz.com/

Other then that, you can go out beyond the city limits and shoot, although I have not done that.

You can go to Shooters World in Mesa to. I got this information from Armoredman. You can ask him for directions if you want to go...

 

[Open Carry]

You can shoot in the Tonto National Forest. Some parts of the forest are closed to shooting. Take Shea east to 87 and head north towards Payson. Turn left onto the forest road at the Four Peaks sign.

Tucson Mountain Park or Jensons Arizona Sportsman indoor Range. Those are all I know except The Marksman.
