Hi, I just found this forum and see I will have a lot of reading to do and hopefully I'll find a lot of useful information.

I am tyring to find a Kydex pocket holster for a NAA mini revolver, 1 1/8". Does such a thing exist? Any help you can stear me towards would be appreciated greatly.

Thanks!

Here's another positive vote for Pale Horse Holsters. Yes, the wait is annoying, but the holsters are very nice. Even if you end up buying a cheap holster for immediate use, definitely consider buying a good one from Pale Horse.

I *really* do not like NAA's ankle holsters. I got the fit down right, then tried to draw the firearm at the end of the day only to find it *very* firmly jammed - the nylon edges had crept up behind the cylinder and the "flap" of sewn material completely prevented its removal. I had to yank down my sock all the way and remove the holster to free the firearm.

O.O

Why the devil do you want to carry the ultimate pocket gun in a holster. I have one that has served me for way over twenty years. It has ridden inside a mostly empty cigarette pack when I wanted deep cover concealment, in my uniform shirt vest pocket behind my note pad, and mostly in my right trouser pocket.....

The ONLY thing that holster does is add another layer of "in the way" when you need your piece.

Unless mandated by law, as is the case in Georgia, I fail to see any justification at all for such a device.

The pocket holders in question (NAA's and at least one Pale Horse model) keep the pistol in the same orientation all the time and hold one reload without the shells rattling around.

Before I'd used a pocket holster, I'd once pulled my NAA out of my pocket to find it at half-cock. Didn't like that at all.

If your gonna carry a NAA 22 in your pocket why use a holster? I carried one all day every day for years in my front pocket mixed in with my change. It still looks close to new, and works fine.
Mine came with a holster I found it unnecessary, caused to much bulk, and was in the way..

Well Weed Wacker, if that gun got on half, then YOU put it there before YOU put the thing in YOUR pocket.

For the life of me I cannot see how that gun could remotely place itself into a half cock mode. That main spring is heavy, it also requires a partial turn to the cylinder AND it'd have to be forcibly rotated OUT OF THE SAFETY NOTCH.

YOU put it in your pocket that way! You can do the same thing with or without skin on it!

As I said before I carried one of these guns in my pocket for years. twice I found it out of the safety notch, the hammer resting on a live round. NOT a good thing. The second time I KNEW it had been right when placed in my pocket as after once i was extremely cautious and careful. From then on it was left on a EMPTY cylinder and it never moved. The safety notch is not deep enough when these little guns are carried in your pocket, they should be left on a empty.
Only thing I could ever figure was as you sat or whatever your pants would become tight enough to pull the hammer ever so slightly that the cylinder was allowed to move. Not to half cock in my case but enough to come to rest off the notch.

I carry a Black Widow in an eyeglass case.
Fits perfectly, with just half the butt exposed.
The soft lining lets it slip out easily, the case catches in the pocket.
The thick lining hides the outline.
And I can take it out of my pocket if I need to and it doesn't look like a holster. Just keep the but covered with my hand.
Overall it works better than the dedicated holsters I use with my Keltec.

Come right out and call me a liar. Please, I don't mind.

When placing loaded firearms anywhere near my person, I am extremely paranoid in checking their state any time I handle them. The hammer was down in a safety notch when I put it, sans holster, in my front pants pocket.

When I took it out of my pocket come evening, it was at half-cock. It is a bone stock NAA mini.

I now always use a pocket holster. No fuss, no muss, no half-cock.

Carry mine in a "holster grip" and just flip it out like a jack knife for use. Much easier to grip than that little one fingered bird's head thing it came with. The holster grip protects the sides of the gun and the hammer to an extent, too. One thing to worry about with the NAA is the fact that the rounds at the sides of the gun are exposed, the rims are, and a sharp blow could touch one off if you bumped into something with your pocket somehow. The holster grip protects against such an occurance. I don't know if it's ever happened, but I could see where it could, just as I could see how you could bump into something and cause the gun to go half cock. Not hard to swallow for me.

Not kydex, but what I carry mine in...

Why would you carry the ultimate pocket gun in a holster? How about because a pocket isn't a holster?

Why would you ever put it in a cigarette pack? Oh, for concealment, right. That is part of the reason for a pocket holster. It also keeps the gun cleaner and keeps the tobacco out of the moving parts and helps keep the gun oil flavor out of the cigarettes.

I am sure the cigarette pack carry is a very fast draw and not in your way at all.
