Well, I stopped by a local gun/pawn shop that I had heard had large quantities of police trade-in handguns, including Glock 17/19/22/23 etc. I didn't have much in the way of expectations, but man was I surprised!
I told them I was looking for a second Glock 23, preferably with night sights, so they brought out six Glock 23's in the original boxes...
Long story short, they opened a box which seemed to contain a brand new Gen 3 Glock 23. Only one of the magazines had been used, and the gun couldn't have had more than 50 shots fired total, though I'd wager they only fired a max of 13 or 14 rounds since only one mag was used. The entire gun was flawless, exactly as a NIB would be. The envelope which contains the owner's manual hadn't even been opened yet!
They sold me what seemed to be a brand new Glock 23 with Trijicon Bright & Tough Night Sights and three mags, only one of which had been used, for $369. So basically, I got a brand new Generation 3 Glock 23 for $369. (I also purchased four extra police trade-in mags for training for $60 total! You'll notice those mags all say "LE/Government Use Only.")
These pictures were taken after I put just under 500 (flawless) rounds of Remington UMC 180gr and Federal HST 180gr through it; you'll notice it's a bit dirty around the muzzle.
