I love that savage 99!!!

I got a 99 about four years ago from a family friend, it was his fathers and I was able to find out that it was made pre 1955. I had it drilled and tapped and I killed a deer with it last year.


The only downside is that its a 300 savage, I have to mail order my ammo. I am 24, but I love having old guns like the savage 99, even if it feels like it weighs 10lbs!!

Sights and factory stock removed and replaced with clean bbl. and Bell&Carlson Premier Thumbhole Sporter stock.
Leupold 4.5-14x40 Vari-X III matte scope in Redfield JR base and low rings. 6" sunshade in photo.
Bianchi Cobra sling.
