I'm not qualified to enter the Kahr/Sig debate and won't even try, but I do have a couple of comments on the original question:
One- Your decision to classify your keltecs to bug/backup status was correct....the only time your keltec should be primary is when there is occasion that you for whatever reason are not able to carry a CCW with a more potent round. If it is all you can carry ( and I sometimes can only carry my P3at hard chrome barrel version for various reasons) then it is by all means better than no fire power for self defense.
Second- I carry a Sig P239 9mm IWB stoked with Speer 124 gr +P jhp's and find this gun to be an exceptional CCW,accurate and unfailingly reliable. It is certainly not a pocket gun it weighs 25.2 oz unloaded, but is only 1.2" thick and conceals well in an IWB holster. I have recently purchased a S&W 1911SC but have not fired it yet, it may replace the Sig on some or many occasions but the P239 is a weapon that I at this time have no plans of ever selling. For me it was an excellent choice for a CCW...
Good luck with your decision
