Greetings, long time lurker of the site and was curious to the value of an old gun that I've had since I was young. I tried searching for info on it a few times and have failed to amount much regarding it.
From what I was able to gather about different versions, is that it likely was made in the late 50's early 60's and have seen pricing of $125 to $300 and up to $750 (???) of similar models.

Hi-Standard Double Nine
Longhorn W-102
Serial: 11141xx

Edit: Anyone tell me of the production date perhaps?

Thanks, Brian

Hi-Standard revolvers in general are not renowned for their collector value. Nearly any used gun in factory new condition is worth far more than the average buyer would pay, but it appears from the photo that the revolver in question has a normal amount of finish wear for its age. That would probably put it solidly in the "shooter value" category.

My Double Nine is priceless, but it once belonged to my uncle, and was the first handgun I ever fired.

Thanks Jubjub, I didn't expect it to have a value of anything over $100 dollars really. I was just curious to the gun's value as there really is no info on it. I'd never sell it as its the one handgun I shoot the most. Hard not too when its so dang cheap to run up to 100 rounds through at a time.
