Given I've had more Pro-Mags that didn't work than did over the years, I felt I might be making a mistake, but I tried one 8-round and one 7-round Kahr P9 on my last Midway order. At less than half the price of what Kahr wants, I figured I'd take a chance as Midway is pretty good about returns.
I'm happy to report both worked 100%, fed from slide lock and n+1 loadings and locked back on the last shot everytime in my CW9. Three times for each mag. Not an exhaustive test, but my other bad experiences with Pro-Mags never got this far and the few that worked have been fine. I used Monach steel cased FMJ, these are basically the same as the old lacquer coated Wolf. My P9 does well with them (first failure was last time out somewhere in the 500-600 round range which I took to mean time to takedown for a complete cleaning, whcih I did before todays outing). Since they have significently more friction in the mags than brass cased ammo, I figured this would be a good test as if they work with this ammo they'll probably work with anything.
