thinking of selling a gun across state lines.

I know I have to ship to ffl. Who can ship, any special considerations?

You, as a non-FFL can send long guns (rifles/shotguns) by USPS, FEDEX or UPS to the receiving FFL. Handguns must be shipped via UPS or FEDEX to the FFL if you are shipping them. Another FFL can send handguns via USPS to the receiving FFL and may be cheaper.

Call the receiving FFL and find out what they want. They may not accept, as a company policy decision, a firearm from a private party.
