Hi guys.
I have a Remington 1100 lt 20 and am looking at getting a new barrel for it. It is the youth model and came with a 21" barrel with Remchokes. I have been shooting some clays lately, nothing formal, and I would like a longer barrel.
It looks like there are both 28" and 26" barrels available. Any input on what is preferred? I am 5'10 and shoot my 28" Mossberg 500 pretty well, but I am wondering about the weight and balance of the smaller 20 gauge and how it may be different.
A bonus would be if the gun was still comfortable for my girlfriend to shoot clays with. Would a 28" barrel be too front heavy for a smaller person?
OK, anyone have an opinion?
